Puhuhefvaya, Alice

Alice Puhuhefvaya was a Hopi-Tewa potter. She lived most of her life in Polacca, the village where Nampeyo of Hano‘s brother, Tom Polacca, settled at the foot of First Mesa. Several other cross-cultural families have settled in Polacca, too. Alice was married to Hopi silversmith Fernando Puhuhefvaya.
