Villalobos, Anastacio

Anastasio Villalobos is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He learned how to make pottery from his sister-in-law, Rosa Mora. Then he worked with Eli Navarette and learned how to make multi-colored graphite-style black pots, which is mostly what he produces now.
