Concha, Antoinette

Antoinette Concha was born into Jemez Pueblo in September, 1964. Her mother was Alma Maestas, her grandmother Carrie R. Loretto. Growing up, Antoinette learned how to make pottery by watching and working with her mother.

Antoinette makes redware and blackware mudhead storytellers and drummers. Some of her drummers have feather attachments. She paints traditional designs using matte black and white.
