Trujillo, April

April Trujillo is a potter from Cochiti Pueblo. Her grandparents were Leonard Trujillo and Mary Trujillo. She probably learned how to make pottery through watching and working with them. April learned well because she was earning ribbons as a Student Artist at the Heard Museum Indian Arts Fair & Market in Phoenix in 1992, 1994 and 1996.

Like her grandparents, April makes mostly figures, primarily storytellers.
