Elliot, Caroline

Caroline Elliot is the two-spirit off-spring of Tito and Bernice Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo. Her sister is Dusty Naranjo. She began her career as Forrest Naranjo.

Caroline learned to make pottery by watching and working with her mother as she grew up. She likes to make non-traditional shapes with an earthy color and sgraffito semi-traditional Santa Clara designs. Her favorite design elements include bears, bison, mountain goats, birds and humans.

She was a participant in the Heard Museum Guild Indian Art Fair and Market in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.
