Acosta, Chela

Chela Acosta is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Chihuahua, Mexico. She usually makes polychrome seed pots decorated with geometric and cuadrillos-based designs. Her sister, Maria Acosta, makes similar style seed pots.
