Nieto, Christine

Christine Nieto (1965-2009) was a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. She mostly made small blackware and sienna jars and bowls decorated with sgraffito flower and leaf designs. She also made sculptural pottery. She was a participant for several years at the Eight Northern Pueblos Indian Arts and Crafts Show in Espanola, usually showing with Dale Gutierrez.
