Collateta, Christopher

Christopher Collateta is the son of Hopi-Tewa potter Nyla Sahmie, brother of Michael Collateta and Seth Collateta. Nyla taught them all how to make pottery as they were growing up.

Christopher makes wedding vases, jars and bowls, generally of yellow clay. He decorates them with Sikyátki-Revival designs in mineral red and black.
