Suazo, Clara

Clara Suazo was a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. She was an active potter from the mid-1930s at least until the late 1990s. She learned how to make pottery from watching and working with her mother, Geronimo Chavarria. She seems to have specialized in making items for the tourist trade.
