Cerno, Connie O.

Concepcion “Connie” (Ortiz) Cerno was born into Acoma Pueblo around 1909. Her parents were Alma and Joseph Ortiz. She married Francisco Cerno before 1930 and was active as a potter from about 1930 to about 1990. She primarily made traditional polychrome jars and bowls.

Margaret Garcia and Velma Chino are her daughters, Shyatesa White Dove is her granddaughter.
