Garcia, Corinne

Corinne Garcia (1960- ) is a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She started learning how to make pottery when she was 7 years old, emulating what her mother and grandmother were doing with clay.

Corinne generally makes corrugated whiteware. On some of that she adds appliqués of animals and people, painting them before firing them.
