Ramirez, Daisy

Daisy Ramirez Corona is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. Her parents are Oscar Ramirez and Angela Corona, Jazmin Ramirez is her sister. She and her sister learned their art from their parents and friends as they were growing up. Daisy mostly produces seed pots decorated with sgraffito and painted geometric designs.
