Vallo, Darlene L

Darlene L. Vallo is a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She was born in January 1962, the daughter of Ben and Bessie Lee. It was her brother who taught her how to make pottery and she became active in the marketplace around 1990, making mostly storyteller figures. Darlene was a Dineh potter but she always worked in the styles of Acoma.
