Loretto, Deborah

Deborah Seonia Loretto is a potter from Jemez Pueblo. Her heritage is 1/2 Jemez, 1/2 Laguna. She was born in April, 1956 to Caroline L. Seonia and learned how to make pottery throiugh watching and working with her mother as she grew up.

Deborah has been an active potter since the early 1980s. She makes traditional jars, bowls and figures but prefers to make Santa Claus storytellers.
