Trancosa, Delfino

Delfino “Del” Trancosa was born into San Felipe Pueblo in August, 1951. He never really knew much about clay until he married Helen Cordero‘s daughter Toni Suina. Then she and Helen taught him everything.

Del primarily made storytellers, turtles and other figures. His favorite designs to paint were lambs, turtles, sun faces, clouds and lightning bolts.
