Padilla, Dolorita

One of the daughters of Santa Clara Pueblo potter Sara Fina Tafoya, Dolorita Padilla was the sister of Margaret Tafoya, Camilio Tafoya and Christina Naranjo. She lived from 1897 to 1960. She produced mostly carved blackware and black-on-black jars and bowls.
