Patricio, Doris

Doris Patricio (1944-2019) was a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She married Patrick Patricio, a nephew of Marie Z. Chino and Grace Chino, and learned to make pottery from them and her mother-in-law, Helen Zieu White. Robert, Myron, Stephanie and Douglas Patricio were her children.

Doris primarily made polychrome jars, vases, bowls and wedding vases, decorating them usually with bird element and geometric designs.
