Chino, Edna
“I like making my pottery and painting. I do all sizes of pottery.”
Edna Chino was born into Acoma Pueblo in June, 1935. Her parents were Clifford and Lita Garcia. It was Frances Torivio who taught her how to make pottery. She became an active potter in the marketplace around 1950, producing mostly traditional black-on-white fine line and polychrome jars and bowls.
