Ortiz, Elisa

Elisa Ortiz is a potter from the Mata Ortiz area in northern Mexico. She usually collaborates with her husband, Luis Vargas. They use a lot of Ramos Polychrome anthropomorphs and geometric designs on their pieces. They also work a lot with mezclado (mixed) clay.
