Tootsie, Elizabeth

There is extremely little info about Elizabeth Tootsie available. It seems she was a potter from Walpi on Hopi First Mesa. One says she was active in the 1950s while it also appears she learned how to make pottery through studying with Jean Sahmie, who was born in 1949. We’ve seen one piece from Elizabeth and it was co-signed by Jean.
