Naha, Elvira
Elvira Naha Nampeyo (born in 1968) is the daughter of Tom Polacca and granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo. She usually collaborates with her husband, Marty Naha, when she makes pottery. She’s mostly known as Elvira Naha but their pieces they sign Marty and Elvira Nampeyo.
As both Marty and Elvira learned the craft of making and decorating pottery from Elvira’s father, Tom, their work follows closely in his footsteps with intricately carved, painted and etched scenes from Hopi culture decorating their jars, bowls, seed pots and other pieces.
