Naha, Emma
Emma Naha was a Hopi potter who became active in the mid-1970s, about the same time her husband, Raymond Naha, a famous Hopi-Tewa painter, passed on. She was able to support herself and their three children, Shannon, Marty and Ray, Jr. on her pottery sales alone. She taught all her children to make pottery, too, and Marty now collaborates with his wife, Elvira Nampeyo.
