Waconda, Florence

Florence Waconda is a traditional potter from Acoma Pueblo. She learned how to make pottery from her mother, Lupe Concho (1882-1982). She usually collaborated with her husband, Fred Waconda, when making her own pottery. Loretta Joe and Beverly Garcia are their daughters.
