Veloz, Gerardo Ledezma

A member of the large Ledezma family in the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico, Gerardo learned to make pottery from his neighbor, Manuel Rodriguez. Like others in the Ledezma family, Gerardo likes to use the basic cuadrillos (checkerboard) pattern to build his intricate designs.
