Gallegos, Hector Jr

Hector Gallegos Jr. (aka Hector Gallegos Martinez) is the son of Graciela Martinez de Gallegos and Hector Gallegos Sr. He grew up in a home in Mata Ortiz where pottery was being made all the time and he learned how to make pottery, too. But, like his father, Hector would rather be on horseback somewhere.

Hector’s style of decorating pottery is very intricate. It’s only gotten more intricate since he married Laura Bugarini and they started collaborating.
