Quezada, Hilario Sr

Hilario Quezada (Olivas) Sr. is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He’s married to potter Matilde Olivas de Quezada and they have a son, Hilario Quezada, Jr., who also makes pottery.

In 2018 Hilario earned a Second Place prize in the New Properties division at the annual Concurso Ceramica de Mata Ortiz.
