Ramirez, Jazmin

Jazmin Ramirez Corona is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. Her mother is Angela Corona, her father Oscar Ramirez. Vidal Corona is her uncle. Jazmin grew up watching and working with them as they made pottery. She started making pottery for the marketplace while she was still a teenager.

Jazmin mostly makes seed pots and decorates them with multi-colored geometric designs.
