Sahu, Jeanette
Jeanette Sahu was a Hopi potter from the village of Walpi. She was active from about 1960 to about 1980, making mostly Sikyátki-Revival polychrome jars and ladles. Her favorite designs included feathers, parrot elements, arrow points, rain symbols and cloud patterns.
In 1976 Jeanette earned a Second Place ribbon at the 14th Annual Scottsdale National Indian Artists Exhibit in Section C: Crafts, Classification VIII-Pottery, Division A- Traditional, Part1-Pueblo.
