Gonzalez, Jose

Jose Gonzalez is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He specializes in making uniquely shaped pots and decorating them with bands of corrugation bounding sgraffito and painted Paquimé anthropomorph and geometric designs.
