Perez, Jose Luis

José Luis Perez is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He is the husband of potter Celia Veloz. Sometimes he makes his own pottery but primarily, he helps Celia by cleaning, polishing, painting fill-in areas she leaves for him and firing her pots.
