Patricio, Juanita

Born into Acoma Pueblo in 2001, Juanita Patricio is the third of Robert and Melanie Patricio‘s daughters. As Robert and Melanie were making pottery together with the rest of their family most of the time, Juanita grew up exposed to every aspect of the process. She showed an interest early in life and her parents cultivated it.

Similarly to her older sisters Felisha and Kylie, Juanita was earning ribbons in the Youth Pottery Division at Santa Fe Indian Market as a teenager.
