Tafoya, Kenneth

Kenneth Tafoya is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. He was born in 1953 to Paul and Tonita Tafoya. His grandmother was Severa Tafoya. Among his siblings were Ray Tafoya and Paul Speckled Rock. He grew up in a pottery-making household and was exposed to the process since he was an infant. He became most known for his figurative pottery, especially his bear figures.
