Lucero, Laura

Laura Lucero is a potter living and working the Mata Ortiz area in northern Mexico. She seems to enjoy decorating the entire surface of her pieces. She often paints an open, flowing, Quezada-style geometric design and then fills in the open space around it with incised and/or painted geometric patterns.
