Ledezma, Leticia

Leticia Ledezma is a potter living and working in the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. She learned how to make pottery through watching and working with her parents, Rosa Loya and Santos Ledezma, as she grew up. Now, she seems to enjoy making lightly carved and sgraffito designs in the bare clay body of her pots.
