Cota, Luz Angelica Lopez

From the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico, Luz Angelica Lopez Cota is a younger sister of Laura Bugarini and Elvira Bugarini. She learned how to make pottery from her father, Gerardo Cota. Like her other sister, Karla Lopez Cota, Lucy mostly decorates simple jars with sgraffito-and-painted bird, branch, butterfly and flower designs.
