From the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico, Manuel Gonzalez Quezada is a nephew of Juan Quezada Sr. He generally makes black-on-black pottery and decorates it with designs based on Mogollon-Mimbres designs he’s found on potsherds from the prehistoric city of Paquimé.
