Mora, Manuel

The son of Pilo Mora, Manuel Mora is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He seems to be most known for his delicate wedding vases but he also makes pots of all sizes. Both pots and wedding vases he often decorates with cuadrillos-based geometric designs but his earlier pieces were decorated more with the designs of ancient Paquimé.
