Rios, Mari

Mari Rios is the niece of Mata Ortiz potter Martin Rios. Mari learned to make pottery from her uncle, he learned to make pottery from his parents, Manuel and Benita Reyes. Among their other relatives are many of the best potters of Mata Ortiz.

Mari seems to enjoy making small black-on-black jars decorated with Paquimé Revival designs.
