Acosta, Maria

Maria Acosta is a potter from the Mata Ortiz area in northern Mexico. She learned how to make pottery from Reynaldo Quezada. She makes a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and decorates her pieces with a wide variety of Paquimé Revival and cuadrillos-based geometric designs.
