Quezada, Mariano

Mariano Quezada is the son of Reynaldo Quezada and Monserat Treviso. He grew up in a pottery-making household in Mata Ortiz and showed an aptitude for working with clay early on.

Most of Mariano’s pieces are similar to his father’s: monochrome surfaces with tooled geometric designs. He also makes bowls, jars and flying saucers, some with custom stands.
