Tewayguna, Marjorie

Marjorie Tewayguna was a Hopi potter who became active in the 1940s. She mostly made Sikyátki-Revival bowls, jars and cylinders, decorating them with red and black bird element and geometric designs. She doesn’t seem to have made a lot of pottery and she didn’t make much of a splash in the marketplace. There’s hardly any information available about her.
