Tafoya, Mary Agnes

Mary (Maria) Agnes Tafoya was a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo who lived from 1925 to 1983. Her parents were Cleto and Severa Tafoya. She was active from about 1945 to 1980, mostly making deep-carved black bowls and jars. She was also a painter of note.
