Lewis, Mary

Mary Lewis is the daughter-in-law of Cochiti Pueblo potters Ivan Lewis and Rita Lewis. She married their son Elmer and learned how to make pottery from Rita. Mary made the usual traditional Cochiti jars and bowls but she specialized in making storytellers. She was not very prolific.
