Melissa Johnson is a Dineh potter, a member of the Tobacco People Clan from the Kayenta, AZ area. She usually collaborates with Jerome Begay, a self-taught potter of the Reed People Clan from the Monticello, UT area. Working together, they usually make carved melon bowls and jars with carved melon bases.
