Garcia, Myron

Myron Garcia worked in law enforcement at Acoma Pueblo for a long time. He was born in 1973 and his heritage seems to have been a mix of Dineh, Eastern Band of Cherokee and Acoma. When he needed to relax after a long day, he made pottery. Myron’s work can be distinguished from most other Acoma potters by the styling of his birds, animals and nature scenes.
