Garcia, Nellie

Born in 1925, Nellie Garcia was a potter from Acoma Pueblo. She was actively making pottery from the early 1960s into the 1990s. She made mostly polychrome jars and bowls, decorating them with generally with 4-panel traditional Acoma bird element and geometric designs. There’s not much info available about her.
