Wildflower, Niadi

Niadi Wildflower was the daughter of Teresa Wildflower. They were members of the Chemehuevi tribe of southern California and lived on the Colorado River Indian Reservation near Parker, Arizona. It seems Teresa had learned how to make pottery from a Hopi neighbor when Niadi was a child so Niadi grew up being exposed to the whole process.

Like her mother, Niadi seems to have mostly made polychrome miniatures. She only made them for a few years and doesn’t seem to have been nearly as prolific as her mother. She doesn’t seem to have made any in years now, either.
