Renteria, Olivia Dominguez

Olivia Dominguez Renteria is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. Born in 1971, she’s the daughter of Lidia Renteria and Francisco Cota.

In 2019 Olivia earned the Best in Show prize at the annual Concurso Ceramica de Mata Ortiz. In 2020 she earned a Third Place award for a sgraffito design of hers at the Concurso. In 2018 she earned a First Place award at the Concurso for one of her figurative pieces. In 2017 she earned the Galardon (Best in Show) award at the Concurso.
