Quezada, Oscar
Oscar Corona Quezada is the eldest son of Consolacion Quezada and Guadalupe Corona of Mata Ortiz. He started making pottery in the late 1970s, shortly after his mother did. He worked some with his uncles, Reynaldo and Nicolas, and assisted his mother in making and decorating her pottery, too.
Oscar seems to prefer painting Paquimé Revival animal, fish, bird and geometric designs using matte black paint on glossy black jars.
