Homer, Robert Allen
Robert Allen Homer was the nephew of Corn Moquino. He made Zia, Hopi and Santa Clara styles of pottery. He was born and lived at Zia Pueblo but he learned to make pottery from his uncle at Santa Clara Pueblo, using Santa Clara clays. Robert’s pottery shapes, styles and colors were influenced by his time at Santa Clara but his designs were strictly Zia and Hopi, in reflection of his heritage.
